users that are listed here are members. they cooperate to make the channel what it is. if you want to participate, you may request a role, which will be evaluated by the channel owners or the creator. it is also possible, that you become invited to join a channel. you can leave the channel and terminate your membership as you wish.

there are different roles a member can be assigned to. possible are creator, owner, contributor and reader. they become less powerful in that order.
